1. Information We Collect
A. Information Collected Automatically
When you use PDF Toolkit, we may automatically collect certain information (via Google Analytics for Firebase), including your device IP address, operating system, device manufacturer and model, language, and usage data (such as how often you use certain tools). This information does not reveal your specific identity and is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. Also, we collect user’s email address from the report bug section if the user willingly wants to share the mail address. That collect mail will be used to contact the user, if the user asks or needs to be contacted, and all the collected mail is deleted in 30 days.
B. Device Permissions
To provide our core features, we request the following device permissions:
Storage Access: Necessary to read, open, edit, and save your PDF files and images on your device.
Camera Access: Necessary if you choose to use the Document Scanner feature to digitise physical papers.
2. How We Process Your Information
Local Processing: All core functions, such as viewing, merging, splitting, compressing, and signing PDFs, are performed locally on your device. Your private document contents are not uploaded to our servers.
App Improvement: We process analytics data to understand how our users interact with the app, identify crashes, and improve user experience.
Advertising: We use third-party advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) to display advertisements. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your device to provide targeted ads.

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no internet transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers or unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
